Oblivion was inspired by a conflict that happened between Ting Ru and her partner. She explores her contradictions on emotions and intellection, finding it hard to understand what should is considered correct in a relationship. The blending of water and ink reminded her of unconscious behaviours during a conflict going against people’s conscious decisions.
